Maa Durga orders Vishvamitra to send the brothers to Mithila, where they must attend the 'Mahayagya' that will be organised by King Janaka. Elsewhere, King Janaka announces that anyone who breaks the 'Haradhanu' will get to marry his daughter, Sita.
