Giridhar, a father of two sons, Mohan and Dalsukh, stays worried about their future, as one is always involved in gambling and the other remains alcoholic. But their fate changes and happiness return when Laxmi marries Dalsukh and comes to house. But happiness doesn't long much as Dalsukh goes to the jail for one year inorder to save his family and wealth, Mohan's wife Malathi who has always been jealous of Laxmi, makes the house a living hell.
