Govinda (Kumar Govind), an orphan, is taken in by a wealthy couple when their son Ramesh (Ramesh Aravind) befriends him. Govinda meets a blind girl named Kasturi (Sudha Rani) and falls in love with her. Circumstances lead to their separation and Kasturi regains her eyesight after an operation. She is forced to marry Ramesh though her heart still longs for her husband's friend, Govinda. Will fate reunite the lovers?
